I think that I am going to start blogging more. I may not have a lot of followers, but at least I will have a way to vent about my current situation. On Thursday, February 20th, 2014 (just over a month ago) I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma… just ten days after my 17th birthday. The Monday before, I went to the ER for internal bleeding. Then on the following Wednesday, I was admitted at Peyton Manning’s Children’s Hospital. I was supposed to have a procedure done that night, but it got pushed backed. Praise the Lord it got pushed back… Instead, the doctor decided to have me get an abdominal CT scan. That CT scan showed the 19*9 cm tumor in my chest. It covered 2/3 of my chest cavity and it compressed on my heart and lungs. I thank God every day that it was found. Most people dwell on news like this, but I decided to use my circumstance to be an inspiration to others. I do not need to worry about a SINGLE thing. God has this under control. He doesn’t give a person more than what they can handle… I am a beautiful child of God; a beautiful, bald child of God.
